Our Story
Built on Faith, Not Funding
churchevents.com.au wasn’t started by a big organization; it was born from a simple need in our local Sydney church community. We saw how hard it was to find Christian events, and we decided to build a solution ourselves.
This platform, like all our projects, is a passion project built with our own time, money, and a belief that technology should serve the church, not exploit it. We are volunteers—developers, designers, and pastors—donating thousands of hours to create tools that we believe will strengthen the body of Christ.

We are also actively developing MyBible, a revolutionary digital Bible app designed for deep, distraction-free devotion.

MyBible.au Domain & Hosting: Securing the domain ($25/year) and a powerful Python server to handle 100,000+ visits per day ($96/year).

AI & Language Expansion: Running a local private AI server ($144/year) to add and perfect Korean, Chinese, Nepali and Malayalam Bible translations, making Scripture accessible to more communities.

New Features: Building an exclusive e-reader ($300 for prototype) and new features like “Theme-based Readings” and “Sunday Sermon Passages.”
